Outcomes of the Project

Sovietology has an established position in national and international historical studies, yet there is still a lack of comprehensive approaches to the subject of Soviet “Polish studies,” primarily due to the scattered and poorly identified source base. Given the absence of prior analytical studies on this topic, the project primarily aims to collect and critically edit source materials, organized into the following stages:
1. Identifying the location and preservation status of relevant sources through detailed archival queries.
2. Developing new perspectives during discussion sessions and community consultations.
3. Producing a three-volume edition of the collected materials as the final outcome.

For the purposes of this project, documents will be selected to form an integral and conceptually coherent whole. These materials will serve as a foundation for further synthetic studies on individual thematic areas. According to the outlined research plan, the volumes will cover the following topics:
1. Institutions
2. Personnel
3. Research

This structure will enable quick access to specific categories of documents and facilitate subsequent problem-oriented research.
